Many schools are looking toward, or are in the process of implementing the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) and there are a wealth of strong resources available to help understand and implement them.

  1. Bozemanscience — This site organized and maintained by Paul Anderson, a science and physics teacher from Bozeman, MT. Favorite so far are his YouTube clips explaining the what and how of the NGSS. (Thank you for sharing your great work, Paul! Teachers around the globe appreciate it very much!)
  2. The Exploratorium includes a variety of lessons and ideas aligned with NGSS. Check out their ‘science snacks here.’
  3. The National Science Teachers Association has a great science hub available here that’s also worth a peek.

What’s missing? What great resources have you found to support the implementation of NGSS?
